Just let me know!
She lay on the hillside thinking she was glad she wasn't blind. Otherwise she would have never been able to see everything that she believed was so beautiful. She wouldn't love to read or look at paintings. She wouldn't be able to look around at the green grass, bowing under the breeze. She wouldn't be able to look up at the blue patchwork that bare branches made out of the sky. Blue! How could she ever describe how colors made her feel? She could never tell someone what blue looked like to the fullest extent. It was one of those things that someone just had to see to understand. The breeze blew across her face and tangled her hair. Spring was threatening to encroach the winter she held so dear, and on its cusp, summer was riding stealthily. But for now she looked up at the sky filled with watery sunshine and appreciated that she could see winter.
This passage is a bit different from other things I have written. I don't know if I like it, but it does capture the changing seasons pretty well.
Love and tree branches,
M
